Greek Gods Shop At Asda

The Gods of old are no more dead
Than oceans are green and skies red.

Great Pan hides in the ocean foam
And stray cats that in cities roam

Hermes laments his tale in roars
That motors and engines spew galore

Hera rejoices at newly weds she fosters,
Who not long ago were thought imposters

And Athena bestows her gift on more
As scholarships throw wide open the door.

So while there is much left to improve
To the greatest of Gods we have nought to prove;

For the Gods of old are no more dead
Than oceans are green and skies red.
